Dont be Ridiculous
January 3, 2012 Remember Balki Bartokomous, the cousin from Mypos in the sitcom Perfect Strangers? What did he always say? "Cousin, dont be ridiculous!" Well, last night... followed by my workout this morning I really had to take some of his advice because... Yeah... there are times when you just have to take a breath, take a minute, gain composure and think about what is happening, what you are saying and how your actions might affect others. We all do it. We act on impulse than realize that what we have said or what we have done cant be undone. Its also unfair to think that if you set a certain expectation of yourself or of others that it will be the end of the world if whatever it is, whatever your expecting dosent happen right away, or as you have planned. I have a tendency to do both, I am really working on taking that advice and stepping back to realize that even if "its" not happening exactly as I had planned, or exactly as I had hoped... that as l...
