August 8, 2012 I had absolutely no idea when I completed and logged my very first crosfit WOD into my notebook last year... a year ago today... what I was getting myself into. I mean I knew that I was ready for a change and I knew that I was going to give this whole "crossfit thing" a shot... but never did I think it was going to have the impact on my life that it has. When I completed that WOD I remember being sweaty and tired and thinking to myself how much I really want to make a change in my life physically. How the ball was in my court and that the tools were here, I just had to use them. I was not going to give this up and I was determined to stick with it. What I didnt realize was how much it would change me mentally in the process. In the last year I have changed more than I think I even can comprehend. April 16, 2012 Well well well... I am such a liar. I was around for a week and than it was mass chaos again! I have been busy at work so the blog fell to the wayside unfortunately. I just didnt have it in me to come home and write... but I did think about it every day, honestly. I really said "oh I want to write about xyz" to myself every day, but I was so tired and since aside form work, going to crossfit is super important to get through my days I needed my sleep! So that came first. Than I had a fun fulled weekend jam packed with so many fun things that until tonight I didnt get a chance to sit down, unwind and focus on the blog. Alas, here I am, writing and in a great mood ready for the rest of the week! Today was a milestone that I will not forget. I had quite the breakthrough... I went shopping. You can ask my mom, you can ask Hubs and you could even ask a few of my girlfriends... pant shopping with me... NEVER a good time. You see, I have a huge problem buying pant...

August 19, 2011 Left work at 4:00 yesterday for a dentist appointment, got home around 7:00 and was so exhausted I couldnt stand it (my own fault for staying out till 1:00 on Wednesday night). I dragged myself to the couch, Hubs and I had dinner and we started to watch the Pats game. 8:00 rolled around and he was off to the shower. I  went to bed, turned the TV on to watch some more of the game... next thing I knew I woke up at 1:30am, glasses still on my face and I hadnt moved. I fell asleep before he even came out of the shower. Woke up rejuvenated and ready to go. Since yesterday was my "off" day I felt like there was something missing all day. Hubs went (he took Wednesday off) so I knew what the workout was and how he had done. He also let me know that he had met M, who is K's husband. They own CFW together and he had been away since we started. They are going to participate in a Triathlon this weekend so they will be closed this afternoon and and weekend. Monday ...
